Two Development Routes

Two Different Kinds of Professional Progress.

These are not two versions of the same product. One builds a practical skill from the beginning. The other prepares an already experienced practitioner to teach.

Foundational Practical Skills

Coming soon

Strong Technique Starts With the Fundamentals.

Beginner education is not lesser education. It is where control, tension and consistency are built.

Braiding is taught as progressive practical skills development — sound fundamentals first, then repetition and refinement, because everything more advanced depends on how well the basics were formed.

From Knowing to Teaching

Being Good at Your Work Does Not Automatically Make You a Good Educator.

Practitioner expertise and educator capability are related, but they are not the same skill.

Teaching asks a professional to structure knowledge so it can be followed, demonstrate clearly rather than quickly, support learners who progress at different speeds, give correction that improves practice, and assess competence honestly.

Where Are You Now?

Entry Requirements and Delivery.

Entry requirements vary by programme level. Foundational practical training and advanced professional development do not ask the same things of an applicant, and each individual course page states its own requirements once confirmed.

Educator Programme
A 12 week advanced professional development programme delivered through a blend of face to face teaching and live Zoom sessions. Application required.

Educator Programme

Why the Educator Programme Requires an Application.

The Educator Programme is not an ordinary instant checkout.

An application exists so that suitability can be established properly — for the applicant as much as for the Academy. It is a professional conversation about readiness, not a sales step, and it is not used to create urgency.
